Two of the most exciting dance & electronic music talent agencies in Europe – Jackmode and Underground Artists – have joined forces with Sankeys Ibiza to present a night of the very best in contemporary electronic music.
Bringing together a deep well of talent from their prestigious rosters, the agencies, based in Berlin and Manchester, promise to present revellers at Sankeys Ibiza on on June 20th with a night of “unparalleled vibes.”
Underground Artists have established themselves as one of the UK’s most popular agencies in a very short space of time, with a roster of talent that has notched up numerous radio plays and plenty of support from the mighty Pete Tong MBE, as well as gigs and tours across the globe. Boasting names such as Finnebassen, Him_Self_Her, Dale Howard, Timmy P and Cristoph, the agency specialises in exciting young talent that’s pushing the music scene forward.
Likewise, Jackmode follows in much the same vein; supporting artists who faithfully represent the modern-day world of house and techno – those who consistently look forward, not back, and allow the sounds of the past to evolve in their music. The firm’s roster includes the mighty Adana Twins, Doctor Dru, Monkey Safari and Claptone, among many other dynamic, cutting-edge artists that are injecting fresh vibes into the electronic music scene.
UA and Jackmode’s combined knowledge will be channelled into a huge party with a simple ethos: to use the impeccable space at Sankeys to put on a bash that is all about the music, nothing more, nothing less. That means no over-the-top effects or fancy production; simply raw underground vibes all night long from a selection of their own stellar artists, plus some very popular friends.
On the bill are the Adana Twins, the relentlessly funky German duo that have stormed the jazz-inspired house & techno scene over the last couple of years and show no sign of abating. They’re joined by Chasing Kurt, who will be offering up a sublime performance in vocal deep house with their stunning live set. Another artist who has been at the forefront of contemporary house music for some time now, Claptone will also be in attendance. His smash cut ‘No Eyes’ still gets regular airtime at clubs around the world.
Having picked up releases with numerous influential labels of late including Gruuv, Morris Audio, Local Talk and many more, British producer Dale Howard (whose fresh-out-the-gate remix of Oxia’s ‘Give A Feeling’ can be listened to below) will be in the house, as will Norwegian star, Finnebassen – a man who is renowned for taking control of a dancefloor with as much prowess as he does a music studio. Last but not least, the infallible UK duo, Him_Self_Her will bring their infectious energy. with live vocals, larger than life basslines and stirring melodies.
In essence, this is a night of truly gifted artists, each with varying styles but all unified by their up-to-date take on house and techno. The promoters have this to say: “Strictly for the underground heads, this party will go off! Don’t say we didn’t warn you…”
